Heart Teaching is excited to partner with a specialist school in the Medway area, currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and help them thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• 🌟 Provide dedicated support to children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• 💖 Foster a warm, caring, and supportive environment

• 🧠 Assist in the development of social, emotional, and academic skills

• 📚 Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure individual learning needs are met

• 🧩 Help implement strategies to manage behavior effectively

• 🤝 Work as part of a team to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• 💙 Have a caring, kind, and nurturing approach

• 🤔 Understand Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and be able to implement strategies

• 🌟 Demonstrate excellent behavior management skills

• 🤝 Be a team player with strong communication skills

• 📜 Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one
