Heart Teaching is currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school during examination periods. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a calm and structured environment while helping students achieve their best.
📝 Your Responsibilities:

Set up exam rooms in accordance with school and exam board regulations

Supervise students during exams to ensure a fair and compliant testing environment

Distribute and collect papers and materials efficiently and securely
-
Provide clear instructions to students, accommodating specific learning or access needs
-
Support students with additional requirements, such as scribes, readers, or extra time
-
Remain alert and observant to uphold exam integrity

Report any concerns, incidents, or breaches of regulations to senior staff
✅ What We’re Looking For:

Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail

Calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with students, especially those with additional needs

Professional, discreet, and reliable work ethic

Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to remain focused and impartial throughout exam sessions

Previous experience as an invigilator or working in a school setting is helpful but not essential
-
Flexibility to work during exam windows (dates provided in advance)
