Heart Teaching is proud to be working with a specialist school in Swanley that’s seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their nurturing team. You’ll be supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a caring, structured environment that helps them grow academically, socially, and emotionally 🌱.

🧠 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Support students with autism to thrive in both learning and personal development
✅ Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individualised learning plans
✅ Foster an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere where every child feels safe and valued
✅ Help manage behaviour with calm, compassionate techniques 🧘♂️
✅ Encourage life skills that boost confidence and independence
👀 Who We’re Looking For:
✔️ A warm, kind, and patient individual with a genuine passion for SEN
✔️ Experience or understanding of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
✔️ A nurturing mindset and strong behaviour management skills
✔️ A team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
✔️ Someone who wants to make a difference—not just fill a role 💬
✅ Requirements:
📋 Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
🌍 Must have the Right to Work in the UK
📞 Able to provide at least 2 professional references that cover the last 2 years
