Are you a passionate SEN Teacher ready to inspire and empower young minds? ✨ Heart Teaching is looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join an amazing school in Maidstone. You’ll be part of a vibrant, supportive team that’s truly committed to transforming the lives of children with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs 💛.

🧠 What You’ll Be Doing:

📚 Deliver exciting and personalised lessons for learners with diverse SEN needs
📝 Create and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support every child’s progress
🤝 Collaborate with TAs, therapists, and specialists to deliver holistic, wraparound support
🎯 Champion student independence, self-esteem, and social skills
🛠️ Adapt lessons, tools, and strategies to suit varied learning styles and abilities
📣 Keep in touch with families—celebrating wins and sharing progress
🌟 Foster a safe, inclusive classroom where every voice matters
🗂️ Maintain accurate records of achievements, behavior, and key milestones


👀 What We’re Looking For:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
✅ Proven experience working with children with SEN, either in a special or mainstream setting
✅ A great communicator and natural team player
✅ Skilled in differentiating learning to meet a range of needs
✅ Committed to ongoing professional development
✅ Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or already have one)
