Heart Teaching are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work within a SEN Schools in Erith.

The role is a long term position starting immediately, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

You will need to have 6 months to 1 year experience working with SEN.

By working as a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of lessons. You won’t be expected to teach, but you will need to ensure students are on task and completing their work.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate interest in aiding children.
• Be committed to helping other teachers and students.
• Know how to work effectively in a classroom setting.
• Teach students at all levels.
• Be able to communicate with and understand students and their parents and/or guardians.
• Learn the curriculum and the school’s procedures for implementing it.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the teacher
